Congratulations to Rock Island-Milan School District 41 Director of Nutrition Services, Mrs. Beth MacKenna, on being recognized as The Arc of the Quad Cities Area’s 2026 Business Partner of the Year!

The recognition celebrates the District’s partnership with The Arc through the Community Employment Services Program and a shared commitment to inclusive employment. The Arc of the Quad Cities Area proudly supports approximately 350 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and its Community Employment Services Program helps create meaningful opportunities for individuals to participate fully in community life while building confidence, developing valuable skills, and working toward financial independence.

Through its partnership with The Arc, RIMSD41 helps provide meaningful employment opportunities while fostering a more inclusive community. This work reflects the District’s commitment to creating opportunities for all individuals to contribute, grow, and succeed.

The award was presented at The Arc’s Catalyst Awards, Dinner, & Auction on Thursday, August 6, at the Stoney Creek Inn in Moline.
