Keep in mind this in-person registration is for those who have to prove residency (Kindergarten and 6th grade parents who have not done so already) and those who may need help with online Skyward registration. If you registered at the end of last year you don't need to come see us on these dates (unless you really want to 😉)

All RIMSD41 facilities will be closed on Monday, September 7, to observe Labor Day. We'll resume normal hours on Tuesday, September 8.

Walkies on channel 7. We will be bringing in all students this morning. Gym for those not eating. All hands on deck if possible. Until further notice we will be in our Secure protocol. Parents and guardians of 6th graders, Band and Orchestra Open House is next week on August 17 and 18! This is a great opportunity for your student to explore music, try out an instrument, and learn more about the Band and Orchestra programs.

The first three days of school have been filled with smiles, new beginnings, and lots of excitement across the district! Superintendent Dr. Sharon Williams visited schools throughout the district, checking in with staff and scholars and dropping off a few goodies for our principals along the way.
We’ve loved seeing our scholars transition into new grades, meet new teachers, reconnect with friends, and take on new opportunities for learning and growth.
Let’s make it an incredible year! 🎉📖

Our district-wide in-service brought Team RIMSD together for a day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration as we prepare to welcome scholars back to our classrooms.
A special thank you to Dr. Sydney Morris, Chief Education Officer of Instruction with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), for delivering an inspiring keynote that challenged us to continue putting scholars at the center of everything we do and to embrace the opportunities ahead.
As we begin a new school year, we are grateful for every member of Team RIMSD whose passion, dedication, and commitment help create meaningful learning experiences for our scholars every day.

The first day of school is just one week away! We can't wait to welcome our scholars back on Wednesday, August 5, for an exciting start to the new school year.
Please note that elementary schools will dismiss at 2:10 p.m., following the regular Wednesday early dismissal schedule.
